Welcome to the official site of Kendriya Vidyalaya Aruvankadu, one of the prestigious educational institution of Nilgiris, the queen of hills of Tamil Nadu. This centre of excellence which was established in 1975 is situated in the lush green campus of Cordite Factory, Aruvankadu in the vast expanse of 3.5 acres at the Ooty Coonoor main road. This defence sector school has classes I to XII with a strength of 801 students and has 30 staff on rolls who are striving to achieve academic excellence and development in the total personality of the students. It has moulded teachers, technocrats, doctors, engineers and administrators who occupy enviable positions in various walks of life and are well placed globally.
